At 0426 hours, E11 was dispatched to the Muhlenberg Twp / Ontelaunee Twp line for a report of a transformer on fire. Crews on scene with the pole just inside Muhlenberg Twp and the transformer was fully involved. Our crew had to wait on scene for 1.5 hours until Met-Ed could finally arrive and place the incident under control themselves with their own multiple ABC Dry Chemical Fire Extinguisher’s. There was no further need for our units to remain on scene. We were released by Met-Ed crewman.
