At 1251 hours, Companies 11, 10, 13, 85 RIT & 560 were dispatched to the 4800 block of Kutztown Rd for smoke from a chimney. Crews on scene with nothing showing. Reports from the neighbors stated black smoke was seen from the chimney. Crews investigated and found an oil burner malfunction. The assignment was downgraded to just Engine 11-2 and Ladder 10. Crews locked the unit out and also checked for any possible CO inside the home. None was found. The remainder of the assignment was cleared.
