At 1618 hours, Companies 12 & 11 were dispatched to the area of Allentown Pike just South of Rt 73 for a report of a possible brake fire. Crews arrived and found a car carrier pulled off to the side of the road. The brake area was smoking with no active fire. After the crews from Co 12 assessed the situation and found there was nothing we needed, we were released @ 1635 hours.
