 March 18, 2009

pOn Thursday March 12th at 0504 hrs. Companies 10 11 amp 13 were dispatched to 4117 Kinder Drive for reported smoke from the residence. Chief 11 was first on location reporting smoke showing then confirmed a working fire. Company 85 Spring was then dispatched for RIT. Engine 10 arrived on location and stretched the initial attack line to Side D to extinguish the fire which could be seen at the basement ceiling. Engine 11-1s crew stretched another hose line from Engine 10 to the front door. Temple firefighters then encountered heavy fire conditions on the first floor and advanced the interior attack linenbspto the rear of the building when FF J. Stoudt was un-injured while FF C. Stoudt received burns to his lower extremeties.
