At 2349 hours just 2 hours after clearing another working structure fire, our structure assignment consisting of Co 11, 10, 13, 85 RIT & 560 for a reported structure fire. Chief 11 on scene establishing command confirmed a working fire in a multi family apartment building. All were confirmed evacuated. Companies 12, 37, 32 and a 2nd unit from 560 were added to the next alarm. Engine 11-1 arrived and went in service. Some members from Co 1 were in the area and assisted with establishing our water supply as crews were stretching lines to make an aggressive attack. The 2nd due RIT was requested bringing Rescue 25 to the scene as well. Ladder 10 & 12 both laddered the building with their beams. and established some ventilation. The fire was quickly knocked down putting them in an extensive overhaul mode. EMS requested other EMS units to the scene to transport numerous residents to area hospitals for evals including one of our members who sustained a minor ankle injury. The Muhlenberg Twp Fire Marshals Office was back at this scene to investigate. At 0320 hours, Co 11 cleared the scene.
